Birth

She was born circa 1702, and was baptized 7 Jul 1702 in Monterrey. Her father was Jose Martinez Guajardo de la Garza, and her mother was Margarita Gertrudis Gutierrez de Castro.

She married Jose Jacinto de la Peña in Cerralvo?.

Children

Jose Peña, born 1727. He married Ana Polonia Lopez, daughter of Miguel Lopez and Ana Maria Hinojosa in 1752. He owned Mier 33 (tract).

Maria Tadea Peña, born 1731. She married Jose Miguel Ramirez.

Jacinto Peña, born 1731. He married Ana Francisca Baez de Benavides in Revilla.

Maria Josefa Peña, born 1733. She married Bernardo Vela.

 

 

 

 

 

Residence and Household - 1750

In 1750, she lived in Camargo. The census recorded that she was a widow, and española. Her household had 6 people, and they did not receive government aid to move to the colony:

Residence and Household - 1757

In 1757, she lived in Mier in household number 4. The church census recorded that she was a widow. She was given the tile "Doña". Her household included 3 people, including one child, and one servant. She had a herd of 300 horses, 20 mules, 8 donkeys, 30 cattle, and 1500 small livestock.

 

 

 

 

Land Ownership

In 1767, she was granted Mier 48 by the King of Spain.

 

 

Death

She died on 22 Feb 1769 in Cerralvo. She was 67 years old.
