She was born circa 1734. Her father was Jose Jacinto de la Peña, and her mother was Ana Maria Guajardo. Her mother owned land in Porción 48, Mier. In 1750, she lived in Camargo. The census recorded that she was the daughter of a settler, and 16 years old. Her household had 6 people, and they did not receive government aid to move to the colony. In 1757, she lived in Mier in household number 10. The church census recorded that she was married to Don Pedro Regalado Hinojosa. She was given the tile "Doña". Her household included 5 people, including 3 children.
