Jose Ygnacio Ramirez Hinojosa

Birth

He was born circa 1765. His father was Jose Cristobal Ramirez, and his mother was Maria Matiana Hinojosa. His father owned Revilla 17 grant, Zapata County.

Marriage

He married Ignacia Martinez, daughter of Jose Nicolas Martinez and Maria Francisca Gutierrez de Lara on 19 Nov 1785 in Revilla. He was 20 years old, and the bride was 17 years old. Their padrino was Joaquin Gonzalez, and their madrina was Maria Dorotea Chapa.

Children

Jose Rafael Ramirez. He married Francisca de la Garza, daughter of Marcelino de la Garza and Maria Marcela Longoria. He married Hilaria Valadez. He owned Rincon de Peñascal (tract), Camargo 86 (tract).

Juan Manuel Ramirez. He married Maria Antonia Garcia, daughter of Jose Matias Garcia Garza and Maria Crisanta Longoria Serna. He married Paula Garcia on 17 Sep 1855. He owned Santa Cruz de la Concepcion (tract), Agua Nueva de Abajo (tract), Camargo 86 (tract).

Jose Matias Ramirez, born 1790. He married Gertrudis Farias, daughter of Alejandro Farias and Andrea Rivas. He married Maria Antonia Garza. He owned Camargo 86 (tract).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Land Ownership

He purchased Camargo 87. Transaction took place before 1803. Sáenz Ramírez, Protocolos de Camargo, p.324.

In 1815, he purchased Camargo 106 from Bernarda Hinojosa, the widow of the original grantee.
