In 1767, as a primitivo poblador, Cristobal Ramirez Sanchez was granted Revilla 17 by the King of Spain.
In 1831, as the son of the original grantee, Cristobal Ramirez, Jose Eugenio Ramirez Hinojosa purchased Revilla 17.
In 1852, as the son of purchaser, Tomas Ramirez applied for confirmation Revilla 17 from the State of Texas. Tomas Ramirez applies on behalf of himself and his brothers, proving continual occupation and cultivation since 1768.
