Bernarda Hinojosa

She was born circa 1742. Her father was Cristostomo Hinojosa, and her mother was Margarita Gonzalez. Her mother owned land in Porción 103, Camargo. In 1750, she lived in Camargo. The census recorded that she was the daughter of a settler, and 8 years old. Her household had 8 people, and they did not receive government aid to move to the colony.

Marriage

She married Miguel Perez, son of Jose Perez and Ana Maria de la Garza. He owned land in Porción 106, Camargo.

Children

Ana Maria Perez. On 3 Feb 1781, she requested a dispensation to marry Jose Antonio Cisneros, son of Juan Jose Cisneros and Maria Antonia Guajardo in Camargo. Her husband died on 31 Oct 1831 in Matamoros.

In 1815, as the widow of the original grantee, she sold Camargo 106 to Jose Ygnacio Ramirez Hinojosa.
