Jose Ventura Gonzalez, born 1771. He married Maria Luisa Izaguirre, daughter of Juan Pantaleon Izaguirre and Maria Gertrudis Vela on 1 Feb 1798. He died on 9 Sep 1813 in the vicinity of the Rio Grande - probably near Las Animas. Cause of death: killed by Indians. He was 42 years old.
