Juan de Dios Garcia was born circa 1722, the son of Joaquin Garcia and Isabel Guajardo.

He requested a dispensation to marry Maria Candelaria (Candida?) Hinojosa in 1748. They were married in 1748 in Cerralvo. Dispensation source: Guerra et al., Index to the Marriage Investigations of the Diocese of Guadalajara, p.125.
