Marriage
He married Juana Josefa Ballesteros, daughter of Juan Esteban de Ballesteros and Maria Josefa Montes de Oca. His wife died on 3 Jan 1732 in Huajuco.

Children
Maria Josefa Caballero. She married Juan Joseph de la Garza. She married Domingo Miguel Guajardo, son of Pedro Guajardo and Maria Baez Treviño.
Maria Teresa Caballero. In 1732, she requested a dispensation to marry Buenaventura Cayetano de la Garza.
