His father was Sgt. Major Juan de la Garza Falcon, and his mother was Maria Margarita Rodriguez de Montemayor.
Marriage
He married Margarita Lopez Prieto, daughter of Nicolas Lopez Prieto and Maria de Ayala.
In 1701, he requested a dispensation to marry Angela Mendez Tovar. It was his second marriage, and her second marriage. Dispensation source: Guerra, et. al., Index to the Marriage Investigations of the Diocese of Guadalajara, p.273.

Blas de la Garza. In 1712, he requested a dispensation to marry Maria Magdalena Garcia.
