Jose Gutierrez was born in Cerralvo.
Tomas Gutierrez married Teresa Cantu. He owned Camargo 24, Camargo 27.
In 1767 he was granted Camargo 27 by the King of Spain. He was a former sergeant and lieutenant of Reynosa. Porcion granted to him instead of Rosa Sanchez Zamora, who had moved away.
He sold Camargo 27 to Joaquin Guajardo. Joaquin Garcia stated in his will (1787 and 1789 revision - Camargo protocolors p. 120 and p. 173) that he owned a porcion on the San Juan River at "Las Trancas", bought from Jose Gutierrez. However, a sale deed was not found for this transaction, and Jose Gutierrez's son Tomas, later sold the porcion to Pedro Ignacio Garcia. (Purchase not validated?)
