He purchased Camargo 27 from Jose Gutierrez. Joaquin Garcia stated in his will (1787 and 1789 revision - Camargo protocolors p. 120 and p. 173) that he owned a porcion on the San Juan River at "Las Trancas", bought from Jose Gutierrez. However, a sale deed was not found for this transaction, and Jose Gutierrez's son Tomas, later sold the porcion to Pedro Ignacio Garcia. (Purchase not validated?)
