Joaquin Guajardo was the son of Jose Martinez Guajardo de la Garza and Margarita Gertrudis Gutierrez de Castro.
In 1767, as an antiguo agregado, he was granted Camargo 46 by the King of Spain. There was an improved rancho at the site
He owned Camargo 27 by purchase from Jose Gutierrez. Joaquin Garcia stated in his will (1787 and 1789 revision - Camargo protocolors p. 120 and p. 173) that he owned a porcion on the San Juan River at "Las Trancas", bought from Jose Gutierrez. However, a sale deed was not found for this transaction, and Jose Gutierrez's son Tomas, later sold the porcion to Pedro Ignacio Garcia. (Purchase not validated?)
