He married Inez Rodriguez de Montemayor, daughter of Miguel de Montemayor and Monica Rodriguez Treviño.

Children

Diego de Ayala. He married Nicolasa Garcia Davila, daughter of Pedro Garcia de Avila and Margarita Cavazos de la Garza.

Maria de Ayala. She married Ignacio de Tijerina.

Joseph de Ayala. In 1693, he requested a dispensation to marry Isabel de Ochoa.
