In 1768, as a primitivo poblador, Miguel Perez was granted Camargo 106 by the King of Spain.

In 1815 Jose Ygnacio Ramirez Hinojosa purchased Camargo 106 from Bernarda Hinojosa. The widow and heirs of the original grantee sold the tract.
