In 1767, Pablo Zarate y Tovar was granted Mier 52 by the King of Spain.
Joaquin Garcia purchased Mier 52. He owned a porcion in Mexico in this area, probably 52 as this is the site of Paso de los Arrieros and the neighboring porciones are accounted for.
