Original Grantee: Pedro Gomez de Castro
In 1767, as a primitivo poblador, Pedro Gomez de Castro was granted Camargo 53 by the King of Spain. There was an improved rancho at the site. Rafael Camarillo [8771], his mayordomo, took possession on his behalf.
