Camargo 38

Original Grantee: Lazaro de la Garza

In 1767, Lazaro de la Garza was granted Camargo 38 by the King of Spain. Antonio Olivarez [6990], his father-in-law, took possession on his behalf.

In 1791, as the nephew of the owner, Jose Maria de la Garza received, by donation, Camargo 38 from Lazaro de la Garza. Jose Maria de la Garza had been in Camargo for 4 years. The gift superceded a previous sale to Tomas de la Garza (dispute). Camargo Protocols, p.202
