He married Antonia Josefa Olivares, daughter of Antonio de Olivares and Maria Salinas. Her father owned Camargo 36 grant.
As the son-in-law of the owner, he inherited Camargo 36. It was a gift in consideration of debts and funeral and burial expenses for Antonio de Olivares, Lazaro's father in law.
In 1767, he was granted Camargo 38 by the King of Spain. Antonio Olivarez [6990], his father-in-law, took possession on his behalf.
In 1791, he gave Camargo 36 to Jose Maria de la Garza, the nephew of the owner. Jose Maria de la Garza had been in Camargo for 4 years. The gift superceded a previous sale to Tomas de la Garza (dispute). Camargo Protocols, p.202
