He married Maria Candelaria de Leon, daughter of Martin de Leon and Patricia de la Garza. His wife died on 5 May 1887 in Camargo. She was 86 years old.
Children
Jose Maria Aldrete, born 1820 in Goliad. He married Maria Francisca Ramirez, daughter of Juan Manuel Ramirez and Maria Antonia Garcia. He died on 22 Feb 1862 in Camargo (burial). He was 42 years old.
Jose Trinidad Aldrete, born 1824. He married Andrea Ramirez, daughter of Jose Matias Ramirez Martinez and Gertrudis Farias.
