Jose Hinojosa

He was born circa 1703. His father was Diego Hinojosa Cantu, and his mother was Maria Josefa de la Garza y Diaz Molina. In 1750, he lived in Camargo. The census recorded that he was the head of a household, and español. His household had 13 people, and they did not receive government aid to move to the colony.

He married Rosa Sanchez de Zamora, daughter of Jose Sanchez de Zamora and Juana de la Mancha on 13 Feb 1741 in Cadereyta. He was 38 years old. It was his second marriage, and her second marriage. Their padrino was Jose Rodriguez Baca, and their madrina was Ana de Hinojosa. Joaquin Morales was a witness. She owned Porción 27, Camargo.

Rita Hinojosa, born 1730. She married Javier Garcia, son of Francisco Garcia and Maria Gertrudis Guajardo in 1735.
