In 1769, as the son of an antiguo poblador, Agustin de la Garza was granted Camargo 73 by the King of Spain.

In 1778 Josefa Guajardo purchased Camargo 73 from the heirs of Agustin de la Garza. Deed not executed until 1798. See Seabury and Escobar, Family Tree Book, p.344; Sáenz Ramírez, Protocolos de Camargo, p.261.
