Luis Salinas was the son of Victoriano Salinas and Maria Nicolasa Garcia.

Manuel Salinas. He owned San Antonio Baluarte.
Land
In 1830 he was granted San Antonio Baluarte by the State of Tamaulipas. The tract was occupied from 1830 until 1836 when it was abandoned due to Indian depredations. The original grantee died in 1839.
