Pedro Garcia de Rivera
He was born circa 1700. His father was Pedro Garcia de Rivera, and his mother was Maria Marquez Verano. Was part of the 1720 expedition to Texas with Marques de Aguayo (coming with a cavalry squad from Zacatecas)
Marriage
On 15 Jun 1722, he requested a dispensation to marry Felipa Camacho Maldonado. They were married on 12 Oct 1722 in Monclova. He was 22 years old, and the bride was 21 years old. It was her second marriage. Their padrino was Jose Joaquin de Urrutia y Ecay Muzquiz, and their madrina was Rosa de Yruegas. Witnesses were Pedro Gil and Pedro Valdez. Maria Josepha Garcia de Rivera, born 1730. She married Vicente de Alderete on 9 Aug 1749 in Monclova. She died on 29 Sep 1779 in Santa Rosa . She was 49 years old. Her husband died on 23 Jan 1791. He was 81 years old.
