Birth

His father was Isidro de la Garza, and his mother was Antonia Cantu.

Marriage

In 1721, he requested a dispensation to marry Nicolasa Cantu. Dispensation source: Guerra, et. al., Index to the Marriage Investigations of the Diocese of Guadalajara, p.226.
