Marriage
In 1683, he requested a dispensation to marry Maria Sanchez Navarro in Saltillo. Dispensation source: Guerra, et. al., Index to the Marriage Investigations of the Diocese of Guadalajara, 9-10, p.47.
He married Mariana Montalvo, daughter of Joseph Montalvo and Beatriz Barrera. It was his second marriage.
Children
Antonia Flores de Valdez. She married Juan Barrera, son of Ana Estacia (Anastacia) de la Barrera.
Cristobal Flores de Valdez. In 1724, he requested a dispensation to marry Maria Bernarda de la Garza, daughter of Asencio de la Garza and Clara de Hinojosa.
Josefa Valdez, born 1685. She married Francisco de Castro. On 8 Mar 1717, she requested a dispensation to marry Juan Galvan Alvarez de Godoy, son of Juan Galvan Alvarez de Godoy and Nicolasa Flores de Abrego in Monclova. Her husband died in 1716 in Candela . He was 36 years old.
