He married Maria Candelaria Lopez on 9 Jan 1737 in Cadereyta.Their padrinos were Jose Antonio Selvera and Gertrudis Rodriguez de Abrego.

In 1767 he was granted Mier 49 by the King of Spain. There was an improved rancho at the site.
