Jose Antonio Ramirez Hinojosa

He was born circa 1746. His father was Jose Cristobal Ramirez, and his mother was Maria Matiana Hinojosa. His father owned Porción 17, Revilla, Zapata County. In 1750, he lived in Camargo. The census recorded that he was the son of a settler, español, and 4 years old. His household had 9 people, and they did not receive government aid to move to the colony.

Marriage

He married Maria Josefa Leal, daughter of Juan Antonio Leal and Antonia Garcia. Her father owned Porción 55, Mier, Starr County.

Marcelo Ramirez. He married Maria Cirila Montalvo, daughter of Antonio Montalvo and Maria Petra Salinas on 28 Feb 1797. He married Maria Gertrudis Garcia, daughter of Jose Maria Garcia Salinas and Maria Lucia Izaguirre. He married Maria Cirila Montalvo on 28 Feb 1797 in Mier.

Rafael Ramirez. He married Maria Juana Saenz, daughter of Jose Antonio Saenz and Maria Gregoria Hinojosa on 4 Aug 1813 in Mier.

Benito Ramirez, baptized 29 Mar 1777 in Revilla. He married Maria Leonor Lopez on 28 Nov 1797 in Camargo.
