He married Elvira de Renteria, daughter of Juan Fernandez de Castro and Mayor de Renteria.
Children
Diego Fernandez de Montemayor. He married Juliana de las Casas, daughter of Bernabe de las Casas and Maria Beatriz Navarro Rodriguez.

He died before 23 Jun 1614. He was 54 years old.
