He was born circa 1732. His father was Francisco Guerra, and his mother was Ana Josefa de la Garza. His father owned Porción 66, Mier. In 1750, he lived in Camargo. The census recorded that he was the son of a settler, and 18 years old. His household had 7 people, and they did not receive government aid to move to the colony.
