He was born circa 1738. His father was Capt. Blas de la Garza Falcon, and his mother was Maria Catarina Gomez. In 1750, he lived in Camargo. The census recorded that he was the son of a settler, and 12 years old. His household had 21 people, including 16 servants, and they did not receive government aid to move to the colony. He owned Porción 80, Camargo.
He married Leonor Mendez.
