Juan Jose de la Garza was born circa 1724, the son of Juan Bautista de la Garza and Rosa Maria Sanchez Zamora (Herrera).
He married Maria Gerarda.
In 1767, as a primitivo poblador, and a surveyor for the Crown during the Visita General of 1767, he was granted Camargo 88 by the King of Spain. Porciones 88 & 89 were switched by agreement.
In 1790, he sold Camargo 88 to Jose Antonio de los Santos Garza. See Camargo protocolos p.324.
