Taming the Wild Horse Desert

This database documents the people and places of South Texas and Northeastern Mexico. Most of the records are focused on Texas, Nuevo Santander (Tamaulipas), Nuevo León, and Coahuila in the 17th - 19th century. The database is a work in progress and under construction.

Currently, core of the database is the population of Mier and Camargo, Nuevo Santander between 1750 - 1800. An effort has been made to trace and link the ancestry of the original settlers of these towns.
