Camargo 30

In 1767, as a primitivo poblador, Ignacio Quintanilla was granted Camargo 30 by the King of Spain. His wife, Maria Antonia Salinas, possibly the sister of the wife of Antonio de Olivarez (36), Maria Salinas?

In 1807 Pedro Ygnacio Garcia purchased Camargo 30 from Maria Antonia Salinas for 75 pesos. Sold by Maria Rosalia Garcia on behalf of her mother Maria Antonia Salinas, wife of original grantee Ignacio Quintanilla (Rosalia Garcia was adopted, or mother also had been married to a Garcia?) Camargo Protocolos, p. 400. Pedro Ignacio Garcia described as "comercio". This tract sold for 50% more than the other porciones in the area, and seems to have had more land, perhaps due to its location at the bend in the river named "El Salto"
