In 1767, as the son of a primitivo poblador, Bernardo Gomez was granted Camargo 13 by the King of Spain.

In 1800 Juan Jose de la Garza Montemayor purchased Camargo 13 from Bernardo Gomez. Sold by the heirs of the original grantee.
