Felipe de la Garza was born circa 1784, the son of Eusebio de la Garza and Tomasa Cisneros.
He married Maria Inez de Arispe.
He married Maria Antonia de la Cerna on 29 Dec 1823 in Soto La Marina.Their padrinos were Pedro Villarreal and Maria Guadalupe Galvan. The witnesses were Juan Bautista Cisneros and Antonio Gonzales de Paredes.
