He married Maria Antonia de la Cerna, daughter of Jose Esteban de la Cerna and Josefa Gonzalez de Paredes on 29 Dec 1823 in Soto La Marina. He was 39 years old. It was his second marriage, and her second marriage. Their padrino was Pedro Villarreal, and their madrina was Maria Guadalupe Galvan. Witnesses were Juan Bautista Cisneros and Antonio Gonzales de Paredes.
