Joseph Francisco Peña

Joseph Francisco Peña was born circa 1739, the son of Jose Sebastian Aparicio Peña and Maria Rosa Garcia.

He requested a dispensation to marry Maria Gregoria Salinas on 9 Aug 1776 in Cerralvo. Groom and his mother are listed as residents of Mier. His first wife was buried in Camargo. The marriage record notes that he was a resident of Mier. Dispensation source: Guerra et al., Index to the Marriage Investigations of the Diocese of Guadalajara, 110-10, p.227.

 

 

Land

In 1767 he was granted Mier 9 by the King of Spain. He was a resident of Camargo transferred to Mier. There was an improved estancia at the site.
