His father was Miguel de la Garza Falcon, and his mother was Gertrudis de Renteria.

Marriage

In 1727, he requested a dispensation to marry Isabel de la Garza. Dispensation source: Guerra, et. al., Index to the Marriage Investigations of the Diocese of Guadalajara, p.244.
