He was born circa 1743. His father was Francisco Ignacio Farias, and his mother was Juana Maria Barrera.

Marriage

He married Manuela Treviño, daughter of Diego Treviño and Lucrecia Rodriguez. Her father owned Camargo 55 grant.

He married Josefa Landa, daughter of Francisco de Landa and Antonia de Hinojosa. It was his second marriage. Her mother owned Camargo 5 grant.

 

Godchildren

Joseph de los Santos Olivares, baptized 28 Feb 1764 in Camargo. Son of Antonio Olivares and Maria Cantu. The madrina was Maria Rosalia.

In 1750, he lived in Camargo. The census recorded that he was the son of a settler, español, and 7 years old. His household had 8 people, and they received government aid to move to the colony:
