Cristobal de Villarreal was the son of Francisco de Villarreal and Ursula de Izaguirre.
He requested a dispensation to marry Maria Cantu in 1728. Dispensation source: Guerra et al., Index to the Marriage Investigations of the Diocese of Guadalajara, p.82.
