His father was Juan de Almandos, and his mother was Isabel de Maya y Treviño. In 1734 owned the land at Paso del Cantaro (site of Mier).

Maria Ana de Almandos. In 1749, she requested a dispensation to marry Francisco Furundarena, son of Esteban de Furundarena and Maria Ignacia de Zulaica.
Pedro de Almandos. In 1728, he requested a dispensation to marry Maria Leal, daughter of Antonio Leal de Leon and Manuela Guerra Cañamar in Cerralvo.
