Carlos Cantu Treviño
He was born circa 1650. His father was Joseph Cantu, and his mother was Maria de Treviño. was in Texas in 1686 with Alonso de Leon, his brother-in-law. One of the founders of Montemorelos (Pilon) in 1701. Participated in the founding of General Teran in 1730, in the La Mota Valley.

He married Maria Teresa de Leon, daughter of Alonzo de Leon and Josefa Gonzalez Hidalgo Leal.
