Jose Ventura Vela

He was born circa 1736. His father was Baltazar Vela, and his mother was Maria Martinez. His mother owned Porción 83, Camargo. In 1750, he lived in Camargo. The census recorded that he was the son of a settler, español, and 14 years old. His household had 9 people, and they received government aid to move to the colony. He owned Porción 84, Camargo.
