He married Antonia Ramon on 6 Jan 1697 in Monclova. He was 22 years old.
He married Maria Rosa Flores de Valdez, daughter of Juan Flores de Valdez and Josefa de Hoyos de la Garza in 1705. He was 30 years old, and the bride was 13 years old. It was his second marriage.
Notes
Was a member of the Teran de los Rios expedition to Texas in 1691. Had an accident on the Colorado River that forced him to remain with the Indians. Became an interpreter of Indian languages. He rejoined his countrymen shortly after the founding of San Juan Bautista Mission in 1700. He was made Captain of the presidio of San Antonio de Bejar in 1733. In the winter of 1739 he led a campaign against the Apaches in the San Saba region. His last will and testament, was dated July 4, 1740.(RL)

He died on 16 Jul 1741. He was 66 years old.
