He was born circa 1737. His father was Bartolome Treviño, and his mother was Ana Maria Garcia de Buentello. His father owned land in Porción 97, Camargo. In 1750, he lived in Camargo. The census recorded that he was the son of a settler, español, and 13 years old. His household had 7 people, and they received government aid to move to the colony.
He married Maria Rita Gutierrez.
In 1767, as an antiguo poblador, and son of a primitivo poblador, he was granted Camargo 98 by the King of Spain.
In 1799, he purchased Camargo 96 from Juan de la Cruz Estrada.
