Antonio Gregorio Sanchez Solis

Antonio Gregorio Sanchez Solis was born circa 1753He was the son of Lugarda Solis (nat).

He married Maria Caterina Guerra (E) on 16 Nov 1775 in Mier.

 

 

Land

In 1767 he was granted Mier 69 by the King of Spain. He was one of the few landowners who was regarded as casta. He was the natural son of Lugarda Solis, who was also designated casta (his father might have been español). He married a daughter of Ramon Guerra (1592, porcion 6). Once married he was classified as español in the padrones. He lived in town and at Rancho San Lorenzo (porcion 6).

Household (Mier, 1782)

In 1782, he lived in Mier. The church census recorded that he was married, español, and 29 years old. His household included 3 people:

Maria Caterina Guerra Cañamar, española, married, age 23.

Maria Francisca Sanchez, española, a young child, age 6.
