Pedro Jose Ignacio Saldaña was born circa 1735, the son of Nicolas Cayetano Saldaña and Maria Josefa Martinez. Born between 1730 - 1740.
He married Maria Antonia Gonzalez de Ochoa on 12 Jan 1778 in Cadereyta.
In 1767, as an antiguo poblador, he was granted Camargo 70 by the King of Spain. He was a citizen surveyor for Camargo in the Visita General of 1767. There was an improved rancho at the site.
He sold Camargo 70 to Ramon Gonzalez de Ochoa.
