Margarita Gutierrez, born 1756. She married Ygnacio Treviño, son of Jose Marcelino Treviño and Isabel Maria Treviño on 1 Dec 1775 in Mier. He owned land in Las Animas grant, Jim Hogg County. She died on 1 May 1819. She was 63 years old. Her husband died on 15 Apr 1815 in Rancho de Agua Nueva, paraje de Las Animas. Cause of death: kicked by a mule. He was 69 years old.

Land Ownership

In 1767, he was granted Mier 63 by the King of Spain. Ignacio Gutierrez was an appraiser for Mier during the Visita General of 1767. There was an improved rancho at the site in 1767.
