Juan Caliz de Arredondo was born circa 1690, the son of Juan de Arredondo and Margarita de Caliz de Montemayor.
He requested a dispensation to marry Maria de Ibarra in 1708. Dispensation source: Guerra et al., Index to the Marriage Investigations of the Diocese of Guadalajara, p.205.
