In 1831, The heirs of Jose Miguel Ramirez Hinojosa were granted Agua Nueva de Arriba by the State of Tamaulipas. The GLO title says the tract was first denounced by Jose Miguel Ramirez 50-60 years ago (in 1851), but the title was lost. J.M. Ramirez petitioned again in 1831 and title was granted. witnesses: Rafael Ramirez and Bruno Garcia prove that the family has held the land for 60-70 years (1781 - 1791)
In 1852, The heirs of Jose Miguel Ramirez Hinojosa applied for confirmation Agua Nueva de Arriba from the State of Texas.
