Los Magueyes de Palo Blanco

In 1808 Jose Antonio Peña settled at Los Magueyes de Palo Blanco. He petitioned for the tract in 1808 but died before the title was perfected.

As one of the heirs of the original claimant, Jose Manuel de los Reyes Saldaña inherited Los Magueyes de Palo Blanco from Jose Antonio Peña. Dionicio Peña, Rafael Peña, Juan Francisco Peña, Francisco Peña Hinojosa, Antonina Vidaurri, and Manuel Saldaña were the heirs of Jose Antonio Peña

In 1831, as son of the original claimant, Jose Ignacio Peña was granted Los Magueyes de Palo Blanco by the State of Tamaulipas. He perfected the title his father had claimed under the Spanish government.

In 1834 Jose Ignacio Peña purchased Los Magueyes de Palo Blanco from the heirs of Jose Antonio Peña. He bought out the shares of the other heirs of Jose Antonio Peña.

Jose Ignacio Peña temporarily abandoned Los Magueyes de Palo Blanco. GLO title suggest the tract was unoccupied after 1836 or 1837.
